Your Pearl Harbor tour will begin at the visitor center, where you will view a film footage of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor which gave way to the start of World War II. Explore through the historic artifacts and informative displays and learn about that day that changed American history forever. You will be transferred across the harbor on a Navy Launch to the Arizona Memorial, which is built over the sunken remains of the USS Arizona. Here you will be able to view the name of the Sailors and Marines who lost thier lives on that day.
Your journey continues to the next destination to a one hour guided tour of the battleship USS Missouri known as the "Mighty Mo". Also the last battleship built by the US Navy as well as the location where the Japanese surrender of WWII. Walk down the fascinating decks of this battleship and even stand on the plaque that highlights the spot where the signing of the treaty to end WWII took place.
After you will continue onto a drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery. Here you will be able to see the Court of the Missing. This Cemetery is a memorial for every American missing in WWII, KOrean War and the Vietnam War.
The journey continues to downtown Honolulu where you will drive by historic Hawaii buildings and landmarks. You'll get the chance to view a 18 ft tall statie of King Kamehameha located right across the 'Iolani Palace. Also keep an eye out to see the Kawaiahao Church, the first Christian church in Hawaii.
